Wheeeeee it’s the new year!

I finally started back into running – slowly – and with lots of intervals. No time for injuries here!

Also decided to try something new for strength. I’d been a loyal Beachbody fan for years but had grown bored this fall. Plus they were upping the fee… and I don’t have time for that. HA.

SO! Enter Peloton. I know, I know. I really didn’t think I’d ever go there- it seemed very culty. But I was offered a free 60 day trial AND one of my besties invited me to an online group where a personal trainer curates a calendar each month. My Type-A self wept with happiness.

If there’s anything I’m good at- It’s following a schedule.

Armed with my new app and calendar I started religiously following it, that coupled with my return to running meant January definitely felt all new year new me. Except it was more like return to me. Anywho- I’m hoping to get so much stronger! Bring on the weights! And fun cycling rides! And heck- even meditations! (like honestly, who even am I at this point)

January- you were a trip. I can’t wait to see how this shakes out as we move through the year. Bring on February!
