Washington, DC | October 21, 2012 | colorful 30ish minutes | What an experience. I had no idea what this was going to be like- only that it looked like fun. 🙂 Megan, Brian, Julie, Kirby and I headed out to National Harbor in our whites to get colorized. The send you through the course in waves because they let so many runners in. We got out pretty quick and headed around the course.
First color splash was pink. Now- I wasn’t sure what to expect, just knew I needed to hold my breath thru the color shoot. This one didn’t land much color on me, so I made note to really get coated through the next ones! Second color splash was orange. Definitely got my color that time. We then headed around to yellow and finally blue. Blue- they hit me in the face on that one. Had to do a lot of blinking to be able to see!
Afterwards you head out to a dance party where everyone throws color powder into the air and you get covered. It was crazy. And it took forever to get the color off (once it was wet). Fun experience! I probably wouldn’t do another one- but I’m glad I tried it.
