I did not hit my A goal for this race but did come within :15 of my B goal. And with how hot and humid it was? I’m calling it a win.
Thankfully I saw my friend Rachel in the last couple of miles which as a huge boost to an otherwise melting runner.
I know I can run faster. I’m hoping all these race efforts and miles in general this pandemic summer with pay off this fall. Once it gets cooler I’m so ready to PR.
