December 2022 Stats

Hello from the land of no-running! Still hanging in the walk zone but finally starting to feel the itch to run again.

Knee fixed it’s issue… still not sure what was up there but gradually increased my walking, brought back lower body strength circuits, AND added cycling.

The hubs has been having his own issues – so when we saw a bike for sale for cheap on marketplace we jumped at it. Bonus was that it was less than 10mins from our house.

Now I’ve never been a big cyclist- I did it when we had gym access in Blacksburg- but there’s something nice about it having it to cross train with now. Especially since we switched out the seat for something much more comfortable.

Looking into the new year- I don’t have a ton of goals. I’d like to get stronger, lose some holiday weight, and hopefully run some more races – maybe even another marathon if any of these lotteries pan out.
