Marblehead, MA | June 15-17, 2012 | Julie and Mike get hitched. Emily and I drive a long way to get there. π
Emily picked me up in DC after work on Thursday and then we headed north to begin the drive to Marblehead. We stopped over in Jersey for the night as our “half way” point. The next morning we had awesome breakfast at Cracker Barrel. π Then more driving to get us into Marblehead by the afternoon.
We wandered around the park area and had dinner nearby while the rehearsal dinner went on at the yacht club. We met up with everyone afterwards for a Julie and Mike slideshow and drinks.
Saturday consisted of brunch at one of the cute Marblehead restaurants and then we did some window shopping. Marblehead downtown is super super adorable. And being on the water was so nice.
We headed back to the yacht club to get ready for the wedding, heading over to Julie’s mom’s house to see the girls getting ready. Of course Julie looked beautiful and the girls looked lovely.
We headed back to park the car and then walk over to the church for the ceremony. We tried to take the shuttle over to the Corinthian yacht club for the reception but it wouldn’t start! So we ended up getting a trolley ride over to take a cruise of the harbor.
On the cruise we hung out with Colleen’s parents and had a couple of drinks. It was freezing out on the water so we tried to stay warm and take a couple of shots of the water.
Afterwards we headed back to the yacht club for the reception. Delicious food and then onto dancing! Had such a great time dancing with all the girls!
