Washington, DC | December 9, 2012 | Time: 51:12 | Cool weather, misty but not real rain. Starting up at Freedom Plaza we ran down Pennsylvania Avenue toward the Capitol Building, before heading through the National Mall toward L’enfant Plaza and back to Freedom Plaza. Not my best race, was feeling pretty sluggish from the start of training for the disney race in the spring. I made JJ run with me (since she’s also roped into the half in February) and afterwards we treated ourselves to brunch at Founding Farmers. Yay beignets!
