Ann Arbor Half Marathon

Ann Arbor, MI | June 9, 2013 | Time: 2:08:13 | Great race! Weather was cool – high 50s, low 60s and no humidity. We started right by the Big House, ran through campus, and out to the dam. Turning back we ran along the river in Gallup Park, before heading past the hospital and through the Arboretum. Was hillier than I originally expected (never trust your boyfriend who grew up in the mountains, about hills!) but I think the hills made me keep my pace up. Second best half marathon time ever!

Running onto the field at the finish was a great way to bring it home. I was especially glad to get my bottles of water, bananas and cookies at the end. As well as a well deserved drink at the Jolly Pumpkin. 🙂

Had a blast Ann Arbor!
