Capitol Hill Classic 10K

Washington, DC | May 19, 2013 | Time: 1:00:25 | Muggy, muggy, muggy. Despite the overcast drizzle, and the sticky humidity this was a pretty good race. Starting up at the Peabody Primary School and heading all the way down East Capitol Street was a great downhill run. We ran past RFK Stadium and onto the Anacostia River Trial before heading back. The uphill climb was when the rain started to come down a little harder but I pushed through and made it back to the finish in just over an hour. 

Water, fruit and snack bars at the end are always a welcome sight. 🙂
