Stevens Point, WI | July 5, 2015 | As we were winding up our time in Point, there were a few things I really wanted to do before we left. One was to bike the entire Green Circle trail– 26 miles around the entire town. We had a blast!!
We rented bikes from Nature Treks over in Iverson Park (I know a rented bike for how many hours?!) but the soreness only lasted for a few days afterwards. 🙂 Starting our journey in Iverson we headed North on the trail to circle all the way around town one last time. Over the course of our year there we had run all the different sections in segments depending on how long the run was for that day but it was really nice to do the entire thing in one swoop.
We took pictures at every section sign as well as some great nature shots along the way. If you’re ever in Point and are looking for a fun weekend activity I highly recommend this! It was so much fun and of course afterwards we celebrated at Hilltop with a couple of beers.
A fantastic Sunday activity as our time in Wisconsin was coming to an end. Here are all the fun photos we took!
