Durham, NC | March 20, 2002 | Time to ring those cowbells and get our cheer on!
It has been ages since I’ve been able to go cheer at a race (thanks Covid) so it was so nice to get out with the Volee and scream for runners this past Sunday.
We had a few team members out running – most notably fellow leader Andie – who took home the win in the half marathon. Eva (from Charlotte) was out doing the marathon which I give her all the claps and cowbells for completing.
The weather was perfect (which was a far cry from my half a couple of weeks ago) and made me wish I’d been out doing this half instead. oh well- maybe next year?
Anyway Cheryl, Crystal, and I held it down out there with lots of screams, yells, cheers, and cowbells ringing. Looking forward to our next cheer station!
