March 2023 Stats

Keep on keeping on. This seems to be the motto for me for 2023.

I like structure and sticking to plans so I’m doing that. I’m slowly increasing my mileage, and upping my weights in strength. I’ve felt stronger than ever this year and my speed work runs are really showing that. I’ve also lost inches even though the scale itself isn’t moving very much.

I took a trip with my grad school besties to the the mountains for a weekend and got in a couple of runs and some group yoga/stretching. Gotta keep the streak alive!

Oh and biggest news! I got into the NYC Marathon!!! So fall plans have been decided! I was shocked when I saw the acceptance and immediately went to work to secure lodging and flight. But yes! So exciting! First start of the World Majors – a big bucket list item. 😀

So yes- let’s keep the run base and strength building. On to April!!
