St. Patrick’s Day 8K

Washington, DC | March 10, 2013 | Time: 46:07 | Brisk morning but I managed to rope JJ and Kevin into running this one with me. Typical 8K route that I’ve done many times since living in DC. We start out near Freedom Plaza on Pennsylvania Avenue and head toward the Capitol Building. Passing through the National Mall we run a lap around L’Enfant Plaza and then head back up to Freedom Plaza. Flat and face race course and while this wasn’t my fastest time on this course it wasn’t bad.

All of us managed to come in with under 10 minute a mile paces. Following the run we headed to brunch at Founding Farmers which finished off with mini-donuts. Quite a delightful morning. 🙂
