Tar Heel 10 Miler

Chapel Hill, NC | April 20, 2013 | Time: 1:38:47 | Nothing better than running through UNC’s campus. I was worried it was going to be too humid and that would slow me down but the temperature came down just in time for the race. We started out in Kenan Stadium running out up through campus, past the old well and then circling back onto Franklin Street. I was feeling really good and then we hit Laurel Hill. There’s a reason that hill has it’s own challenge- it’s running straight uphill for a whole mile!! Needless to say my time took a hit there, but once I made it to the top it was back downhill to run straight into the stadium to the finish.

Overall loved the race, plenty of bathrooms! and food/snacks galore at the finish. Plus just being back in Chapel Hill was nice, so many memories there. 🙂
