This recipe is a long time coming- and really super easy to make. Every new year you’re supposed to start the year off with black eyed peas. Good luck and all. So here’s a quick and easy recipe that I’m a big fan of and hope that you’ll enjoy to- obviously anytime of the year but definitely for New Years Day 2017.
- 1lb bag black eyed peas (shelled)
- Soak peas over night in water.
- Rinse and fill pot again with peas and water
- Bring to a boil, add salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for 8-10 hours.
