It was about 10 degrees warmer than my last time trial in the fall so despite the fact that I did not beat my time I feel pretty good about how it all went.
First mile I went out hard but doable but then could not hold it for the next two miles. 8:12, 8:26, 8:24.
As someone who really only excels at running in the fall/winter months to come within 3 seconds of my PR in humid conditions felt pretty good. I look forward to this coming fall when I have lots more miles under my legs after all this heat/humidity training.
