Chapel Hill, NC | April 9, 2022 | Back in blue heaven to hand out all the water to runners!
Cheering and volunteering at races is ALMOST as fun as running them. So many people said thank you and even though my hands were dyed red from the Gatorade mix I had an awesome morning.
We were there nice and early to get our station set up, water poured, gatorade mixed and poured. Then we turned on some tunes and danced until it was time for the runners to start coming through.
We were between miles 8 and 9 on the course…. and right before the dreaded Laurel Hill climb. I saw so many of our teammates and other local runners – it was a great morning!
