Y’ALL. I ran the marathon! In-person!
This was October haha.
But really, I spent most of my month with my head down, completing the mileage, speedwork, and trying to stay well.
I neglected my strength training so I’m looking forward to that coming back in November. ALSO! I’m taking an extended break from running. WHAT? Crazy, I know. But I haven’t had real time off in over 4 years, and it’s time physically and mentally for me to shift focus over the holidays. I’m looking forward to extra rest, lifting heavy, and power walking.
We did the thing- now let’s rest November!
